I didn't apply directly. Alten contacted me through LinkedIn, and what was described as a one-time track became much longer than I expected. The recruiter said my profile would remain in their database for future opportunities even if I didn't join, but then the interviews kept stretching out.

I started with a brief HR screen, then met with a backend technical lead. That round went well, and I got a backend assignment with a five-day deadline. After I finished it, I met the same lead again to explain my implementation and the choices I made.

Things felt positive and professional until the process became disorganized. Two HR representatives contacted me without seeming aligned on where I was in the pipeline. I then had a frontend technical interview focused on React, with no additional assignment. I was told a client interview with Carrefour would follow, but first had a preparation call with an Alten commercial representative. They arrived late and kept getting distracted by messages during the call, which made it harder to prepare.

The client interview involved multiple technical leads and was the most worrying part. The technical work itself seemed manageable, but I came away questioning how carefully the process was being run.

Location: Rabat. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
