AES team. The role was posted by someone on the forum (I don't know whether they were the hiring manager), but I applied on my own, and the recruiter reached out very quickly.
The phone screen was with one interviewer. For the first thirty minutes it was behavioral questions plus a project deep dive, and I got affirmed on all sorts of things. After that came LRU, bug free, and it ran with the right result on the first go.
Two days later I reached out to the recruiter myself and was told they had decided to move forward with other, more suitable candidates... The recruiter was pretty nice about it though, and said they would be happy to keep in touch and would reach out if a suitable opportunity came up (I know that's the official line).
Oh, and the tech stack this team uses is Clojure, a very niche language that probably almost nobody has used. Even though I didn't really want to go, getting rejected still hurts. Wishing everyone lots of offers.
