The process began with an assessment containing two coding questions, then moved into technical interviews focused on Java and backend topics. In the first technical interview, we covered Java and backend fundamentals including microservices, Redis, and Java Streams, with additional DSA and coding questions mixed in.
A later technical discussion reinforced how much they cared about Java and Spring Boot. I was asked about OOP concepts, concurrency, and Spring Boot details such as controller endpoint structure. We also discussed databases, including an N+1 query, eager versus lazy loading, and a stream-related question.
The questions felt fair, but the breadth was demanding. I needed to be comfortable coding and able to explain systems thinking, not just definitions. I found the experience moderately difficult, and there was a lot to keep straight across the technical areas.
