My process was fairly compact. I started with a HireVue round where the system recorded my responses, although there was no strict time limit for each answer. It was a set of questions about me, and then the process moved quickly to a more traditional technical conversation.
The second round included a group-style meeting with two senior engineers, along with a coding test. I was nervous about the test, but the structure was clear enough. The discussion focused on how I thought through problems, rather than only on whether I could recite theory. Communication came up alongside the technical work.
I didn't get the job, but the recruiters and hiring process were well run. They communicated in a way that made the process understandable. What stayed with me was that the manager leading the hiring seemed to know the role well, which made my time with the team feel more meaningful even though it didn't work out.
