AT&T Account Executive interview: late arrivals and silence after extra step

The recruiter joined my screen about 15 minutes late. When the interview began, other people were gathered around the recruiter’s desk watching, which made me uncomfortable. The main portion was a long run of behavioral questions. I could answer them, but I did not get much clarity about the role or company, and some of my questions went unanswered.

I was told I had advanced to a final interview, then was given an unexpected extra step despite being told the earlier round was last. The second manager was late, seemed disengaged, and barely participated. I followed up afterward and was ghosted. I found the experience disorganized and unprofessional, even though I stayed involved. The process ended in silence after the extra step.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: got offer.
