AT&T Account Executive interview: third-party calls after withdrawal

AT&T·Account Executive·Reported Jul 2026

This experience was less about interviews than about how my information seemed to be used. I stepped away from an earlier interview after accepting a better offer elsewhere, then kept receiving calls from third parties claiming to work with AT&T and trying to schedule another interview.

It eventually seemed that my number had been shared or surfaced somewhere it should not have been. That made the situation messy and hard to trust because it was not part of a legitimate, consistent recruiting flow. I also felt some hiring effort was detached from actual hiring needs, with signs that roles might be posted without really being filled.

I walked away more skeptical than confident, even though I had seriously considered the opportunity.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: got offer.
