I first spoke with a recruiter about my background and expectations. About a week later, I began the main stage remotely and completed lengthy aptitude assessments before the technical portion. I thought the assessments could have been shorter, but the interviewer was pleasant and the process moved smoothly.
The second stage also stayed remote, which spared me a long return trip for an in-person option. It included technical questions, a short presentation, and constructive feedback. It was clear they were paying attention to how I communicated as well as what I knew. Although things seemed promising, I declined the role after something unexpected came up elsewhere. I was surprised by the investment in the presentation and feedback while they kept the logistics considerate by staying remote.
Location: Burgess Hill, England. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
