Bank of America Financial Analyst interview with psychometric testing and HireVue

Bank of America·Financial Analyst·Reported Jul 2026
Hard

My journey started with an application, a resume submission, and region-specific psychometric testing. After that, I completed an asynchronous HireVue with behavioral questions, personal motivation, and some basic commercial awareness.

If I passed that stage, the next step was a first-round interview with bankers. That conversation focused heavily on walking through my resume and testing fundamentals such as accounting principles and valuation methodologies. It felt like they were checking whether I could explain concepts clearly instead of just memorizing terms.

I made it far enough to reach that more substantial interview stage, but I didn't get an offer. What I remember most is how foundational the expectations were. Everything came back to core finance reasoning, and there wasn't much room to bluff or gloss over details.

Location: Singapore. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
