After I applied, the process moved through multiple structured rounds. A recruiter started the conversation, followed soon by a hiring-manager discussion. The intervening rounds were with senior engineers, and the overall tone was more about the role and my background than trying to catch me with trick questions.
The final round was not another one-on-one technical conversation. It was a panel presentation, so I had to present as part of the interview. That made it feel as though they were assessing how I communicate and frame technical work, as well as how quickly I can answer questions.
By the end, the process felt deliberately paced across different levels, and I felt I had been assessed fairly from multiple perspectives. I received an offer.
Location: San Jose, CA. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
