My process quickly became an assessment-style experience. I completed two closely related DSA problems in a timed format. One seemed to rely on graph-style reasoning. There was also a DBMS question that was trickier than the coding problems. It involved joins and aggregate-style thinking, so I had to slow down and pay close attention to what the question was asking.
Recruiting coordination was another major part of the experience. My interviews were scheduled with little room for my preferences, and getting updates was frustrating. I had trouble reaching someone, and the logistics didn’t feel carefully handled. Details about the title and scheduling seemed to be revisited instead of settled.
The technical bar felt genuinely difficult. There were multiple problems, including at least one that required more database fluency than I’m used to relying on during quick screens. I focused hard and tried to perform well under pressure, but I didn’t move forward. The process felt more like a rigid, difficult test with poor communication than a constructive evaluation.
