The earliest stages were fairly smooth and lightweight compared with what I expected. I started with an online CodeSignal assessment, then had a short behavioral screen focused mainly on how I worked and handled team situations. In another run through the process, the coding assessment was also relatively manageable. It covered a subset of questions, including basic graph traversal and string or array manipulation, rather than anything unusually complex. The behavioral portion was brief as well.
The process became more difficult in a later round, less because of the problem itself than because nerves affected my execution. There was an HR-style conversation followed by a pair-programming round. The question wasn't described as extremely hard, but I got thrown off during the interview and failed even after eventually working out the result as I expected.
Across the experience, the process felt inconsistent. Some rounds were straightforward and fair, while others were much more sensitive to timing and presentation. I didn't receive an offer. My main takeaway was how differently the same technical ability can appear under pressure and depending on the atmosphere in the moment.
