The recruitment process began with urgency, and I committed a lot of time because the timeline was presented as critical. I completed four interviews. After the last one, I received no response: no positive feedback and no rejection.
Over the next several weeks, I followed up repeatedly by email, phone, and voice message, about a week apart. Nothing was answered. I eventually contacted an engineer inside the company to learn what had happened and found out that the role had already been filled.
What stayed with me was the lack of basic communication after such an advanced process. Even if another candidate was chosen, I expected a short message to close the loop. I never got one and felt disregarded after the time I had invested.
