Experian Data Analyst interview: assessment-centre group task and learnability tests

My process began with assessments before I got deeply into the interviews. I completed an image-based behavioral check about how I work, followed by situational judgment questions that felt close to workplace decisions. There was also an assessment focused on learnability, where I had to solve a problem and use new information after it was introduced.

When the interview stage started, I received a smaller set of questions about my motivation, including why I wanted the job and why I was interested in the role and company. Later, I went through an assessment-centre style process with group and one-on-one parts. The group section focused on competencies and had a competitive energy, so I had to stay engaged and contribute. I remember thinking that knowing enough about the company mattered because it came up during the group task.

The whole process was more demanding than a typical screen, but I liked the variety. By the end, I felt it had tested more than technical knowledge, and that clarity helped me accept the result even though it wasn't a guarantee.

Location: United Kingdom. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
