Experian Software Engineer interview with an assessment center and one-way interview

My early rounds felt more like an organized ladder than a long gauntlet. I started with a short screen-style interaction covering general skills and behavioral questions. The process had a structured feel, with time limits throughout.

There were also assessment-style elements that tested how I think under constraints, including sequencing problems and scenarios framed as work-style questions. When I moved into the larger assessment format, I completed a general online assessment first, followed by a video-based "one-way" interview. That was followed by an assessment center with a group task and a competence-style discussion.

The difficulty felt mostly relaxed rather than brutal. I spent a fair amount of time discussing my past experience and challenges I’d handled. I didn’t receive an offer, but I appreciated the calmer tone compared with more aggressive technical screens.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
