FIRSTNET GLOBAL Software Engineer Interview: Project work and behavioral questions

FIRSTNET GLOBAL·Software Engineer·Reported Jun 2026
Technical ScreenOtherRejectedMedium

I applied online and then completed a pre-employment assessment. The next steps included a phone screen, a technical round, and a behavioral round. The process kept returning to my project work: what I built, the challenges I ran into, and the people side of teamwork.

The behavioral questions covered teamwork, conflict, and communication under pressure. The difficulty did not feel extreme. It seemed more focused on role fit than on trying to catch me out.

I came away feeling the process was organized around competence, confidence, and communication, even though I did not move forward.

Location: Farmington Hills, MI. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
