Grammarly Solutions Engineer interview with a presentation and live demo

I went through an organized hiring process that lasted several rounds and felt professional from start to finish. Communication stayed consistent. The recruiter and hiring team set expectations early, followed up on timelines and next steps, and kept me informed after each stage. Each conversation had a clear purpose.

There were about five to six rounds overall, and the team explained what they were assessing. The final-round element included a presentation and a live demo. The assignment and interview questions felt closely related to the work the role required. Some parts involved role-play, and the interviewers gave me time to ask questions, so the day felt more like an evaluation than an interrogation.

The process took a few weeks from beginning to end. I spoke with people at several levels, including managers and more senior leadership. I didn't receive an offer, but I walked away feeling like the experience was rigorous in a good way: clear, collaborative, and based on performance rather than confusion. The demo and presentation were the most stressful parts for me because they expected tight execution.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
