In another attempt, the CodeSignal online assessment was also where things fell apart. I was later contacted about continuing because they were reevaluating my CodeSignal result as a signal. The process then moved to a recruiter conversation with basic STAR-style questions, followed by technical rounds. The final stage included several interviews focused on system design and coding. That time, I was rejected after the technical work.
What stayed with me was how much both the early assessments and the deeper technical stages depended on the details of the reasoning. Logic mattered, as did specifics such as time complexity. I also learned that when a process depends on a few checkpoints, one small miss can stop the momentum, even when I felt prepared going in.
