Johnson & Johnson Software Engineer interview: remote panels and a slow finish

After applying, I started with an HR-style screening call about my interests and compensation. Further interviews were remote on Microsoft Teams, and the sequence felt organized.

The second conversation had more of a panel format. I met several team members alongside the person leading the hiring decision. We discussed my experience and how it fit the role. The questions were friendly, direct and low-pressure, and the panel seemed well planned.

When I asked about timing, I was given an idea of what to expect, although there were gaps between stages. After finishing the conversations, I waited a few weeks for the next step, which made the ending feel slow. I didn't receive an offer. Still, the process felt like a clear assessment of technical fit and everyday collaboration.

Location: Zürich. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
