KPMG Consultant HR screen through partner culture conversation

My process was structured from the start. I began with an HR screen, then had consecutive interviews that ended with a partner. The path was clear: an early fit check, manager- and director-level conversations, then a final conversation about culture fit with the partner.

The earlier discussions mixed behavioral questions with role-relevant topics. As I reached the later stages, the focus narrowed to whether my profile fit the way the team worked. The partner discussion was surprisingly easy after the earlier rounds. It felt more like confirming the overall fit than a difficult interrogation.

I did not receive an offer, but the process never felt chaotic. It was clear, paced, and reasonably transparent about where I was in the pipeline.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: no offer.
