The recruiter scheduled the HR step through Zoom or email and kept the conversation relaxed, focusing on my background and fit. I then had behavioral and scenario conversations, including business situations around integration, separation, and M&A. Interviewers followed up on my answers and asked me to explain my reasoning rather than stay broad.
The next phase was an assessment followed by an interview that was mostly HR with light technical content. Some discussions covered work-environment expectations and standards, but it was not a heavy coding process. Across several weeks, I met different people and reached a final overall-fit discussion. I did not get the job, though the process felt smooth and informative because it consistently tested how I thought and presented my approach.
