I started with a technical assessment that required me to build something small and upload the result to Git. After it was reviewed, I was invited to a career discussion, where I connected my previous work to the role they were hiring for.
The timeline became strange after I passed the first round. I waited about three months before the next round and had to follow up with the recruiter repeatedly. Without being proactive, it felt as if the process could stall. I eventually reached an HR conversation and thought I was close.
There I learned compensation details that did not match my expectations: a bonus would not come with an increment, and the yearly bonus was tied to performance. I declined the offer. That decision has stayed with me because the earlier rounds had felt positive enough that I expected the final step to go differently.
Location: Kuala Lumpur. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: got offer.
