Medpace Research Analyst hybrid-policy mismatch and clinical-trial question

The process began with a mismatch in expectations. In an earlier phone conversation, I was told about a hybrid policy that did not match what came up later in the in-person part of the process. From my side, the experience felt frazzled. The interviewer seemed disconnected, and I got the impression that they did not have complete answers to my questions.

The timeline was roughly three weeks: first an HR interview, then a separate day to complete an assessment, and then meetings with managers. In the manager round, I was asked about hands-on clinical trial experience. That was difficult to answer as a fresh graduate.

I tried to stay engaged and clear, but the inconsistencies made it hard to feel confident. I did not receive an offer and left feeling the process was less aligned than I expected.

Location: West Lafayette, IN. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: no offer.
