I started with a short, focused first round that spent about 45 minutes on the details in my resume. The expectation was that I could explain my background confidently before the technical deep dive. Then the conversation shifted to core computer-science topics, and I had to use a whiteboard to show my reasoning.
I got a practical DSA question and a brainteaser-style riddle. The riddle was easy to get stuck on: I had to split 10 coins into two piles so one pile had all heads and the other had all tails. I tried to stay calm and methodical, but that was what made the round feel harder than a straightforward coding exercise.
The interview was difficult but structured. OOP, DSA, computer networks, DBMS, operating systems, and aptitude came up earlier in the process. I did not receive an offer. Afterwards, I kept thinking about how heavily the process weighed communicating logic under pressure, not just solving the problem.
Location: Santa Clara, CA. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
