Oracle Health Software Engineer interview: trade reconciliation and low-level design

Oracle Health·Software Engineer·Reported Jul 2026
Hard

My loop began with a detailed low-level design round where I designed a trade reconciliation service. The interviewer was knowledgeable and helpful, but the bar for clarity and completeness felt strict. I left realizing that my preparation had gaps.

Later rounds were more focused. One was described as basic DSA. Another drilled into my projects, asking me to defend design decisions rather than just describe what I built, and included more low-level design scenarios. I had to stay organized and consistent in my reasoning.

The final HR-style conversation felt more like a formality after the technical depth. I could not coast on general knowledge, and the early LLD round made precision especially important. I was not completely blindsided, although it exposed weak spots in my preparation.

Location: Sat home. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
