After applying, I completed an online assessment and then spoke with a recruiter. About a week later, I entered an onsite loop. From the assessment through the final decision, the process took roughly a few months. The loop had multiple back-to-back rounds in one day, mixing technical and behavioral evaluation.

Early on, the bar raiser focused on Amazon-style leadership principles. I used STAR-style examples about ownership, ambiguity, results, conflict, learning from failure, and difficult technical decisions, with follow-up questions about my reasoning and trade-offs. In coding rounds, I solved LeetCode problems at medium and hard difficulty and had to explain my approach, not just write working code.

Later, I designed a scalable distributed service, covering API design, data modeling, storage choices, caching, load balancing, and how the design would change as traffic and requirements grew. I also designed an extensible object-oriented set of classes and discussed maintainability under changing requirements. The process felt intense but fair. I heard back within about a week and did not receive an offer.

Location: Seattle, WA. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
