The recruiter-style phone screen started with my background and became more probing as it went on. I described my current experience and projects, and each answer brought questions about why I'd made particular choices. Using STAR helped organize my stories, though the follow-ups became increasingly technical.
I also answered networking questions about TCP/IP, OSPF and BGP. More structured interviews followed, covering coding, DSA and clear problem solving, along with behavioral questions about teamwork, challenges and past work.
The process felt professional and organized. I understood that they wanted technical depth and clear explanations of decisions. I didn't get an offer. Looking back, the combination of detailed networking questions and STAR-style storytelling meant I needed to demonstrate strength in several areas at once.
Location: India. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
