After I finished the online assessment, I eventually heard back and was invited to an in-person set of interviews. The process was smooth, professional, and friendly. I had four rounds with a lunch break in the middle. One was purely behavioral, while the other three blended behavioral discussion with technical evaluation.
The technical topics I remember were topological graph sorting, cycle detection in linked lists, and an LRU cache. The behavioral questions were explicitly tied to Amazon leadership principles and asked how I had handled real situations.
I did not receive an offer, but the experience was not chaotic or hostile. It felt well run, with serious attention to both technical assessment and leadership-principles alignment.
Location: Seattle, WA. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
