After a recruiter call, I went through about four stages over roughly a month. The first substantive interview was a business problem-solving case. I clarified the situation, organized it in a MECE way, formed hypotheses to ask for data, and held off on solutions until I thought I had confirmed the root cause. The next case combined product thinking with technical system design, including the design of a network of deposit-only ATMs as both a product and systems problem.
Product sense came next, with more attention to product and UX trade-offs. I also had to critique a wireframe-like screen: identify problems, explain their impact, propose changes, and set out a realistic timeline. The bar raiser was about my career story and decisions through STAR-style answers, including how my manager would rate me, failures, and times I went above and beyond. There was also a brain teaser. Values and measurable impact mattered throughout.
It was difficult, and I did not clear the bar raiser. What I remember is how candidate-led it felt, without much hand-holding, and how high the bar seemed at the last step.
