SIG (Susquehanna) Data Scientist Interview Experience — Technical Questions Followed by Silence

After the recruiter interview, the process was to hear about the second technical round within roughly a week. Its focus was linear algebra, calculus, and logic.

I recalled questions about a restricted rock-paper-scissors game, the fairness of an election agenda, and proving a matrix-rank identity. Another question asked me to explain how to maintain the median of a data stream, with follow-ups about heaps.

I answered all the questions but had not heard back when I wrote the report. I wondered whether applying late meant there was no headcount left, though that was only my guess.
