After a recruiter reached out and invited me to schedule, the process quickly became a sequence of conversations that felt somewhat shuffled compared with what I had been told. I completed an HR screen, then manager and culture-style interviews, followed by three technical rounds.
Each technical round combined live coding with a system design prompt. What caught me off guard was that the interviewers sometimes seemed unsure how to divide the two parts. I couldn't tell whether they would focus on one prompt or cover both in the same session, so I wasn't always sure what would come next. The other interviewers were generally fine, and the HR and manager calls felt more normal and conversational.
By the end, I felt that the process itself was taking up more attention than the interview questions, especially because the format wasn't consistent enough for me to understand what I was being evaluated on. I didn't receive an offer, and the experience left me less confident in how the rounds were being run.
