The interview began with a detailed walkthrough of my current project. I had to explain the full architecture: design, microservice communication, database interactions, authentication, deployment, technologies, and the reasoning behind decisions.
They then covered Java collections, multithreading, exceptions, OOP, and Streams operations such as filtering, mapping, grouping, sorting, and reducing. Spring and Spring Boot questions included DI, annotations, Data JPA, Security, REST APIs, and microservices. I was also asked about HTTP methods, status codes, API versioning, validation, exception handling, SQL joins, grouping, aggregates, subqueries, optimization, CI/CD, Git branching, build and deployment flow, and GitHub Actions or Jenkins. The hard part was speaking confidently about every resume component.
