After I applied through the company portal, I was shortlisted and HR contacted me for an in-person interview. The timing was quick: HR emailed only a day before the face-to-face meeting, so I had to tighten up my story quickly. I started with an HR screening and then had a one-on-one conversation with the manager.
The interview ran for about an hour. It was not presented as a deeply technical evaluation. The questions were mostly behavioral and connected my experience to the role. Meeting the Finance Manager and Director felt like an effort to understand why I would do well there, not to put me through intensive technical problem-solving.
The process felt fairly smooth and not especially hard, but I did not get an offer.
Location: Sydney. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: no offer.
