TotalEnergies Software Engineer interview: four-step process

TotalEnergies·Software Engineer·Reported Jul 2026
Technical ScreenOfferHard

The hiring process felt organized from the beginning and had four steps. I started with an HR conversation about my background, motivation, and whether I matched what the company wanted. That was followed by two technical interviews intended to assess my skills in a more hands-on way.

The final conversation was with a Product Manager. We moved to the functional side of the role: their expectations, how the job connected to product work, and what collaboration inside the team would look like. Although the process was selective, it still felt open and manageable if I came prepared. Everyone stayed professional and supportive, and I noticed the emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and developing people.

Location: France. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: got offer.
