My interview process started when HR reached out. I then completed an online assessment covering ML and DSA style material, followed by a technical question round with one or two LeetCode problems in the medium to hard range. I expected more direct data science or machine learning questions, but those topics didn't really come up beyond the assessment.
The next stage was an onsite superday. It went well enough technically that I felt I had a real shot, but I didn't make it to the final round. Later, HR said the team was looking for someone with more experience. That was disappointing because the technical side didn't feel like the main blocker.
Overall, it was a positive experience, and the people were approachable. Still, the gap between what I expected, with more explicit data science depth, and what I actually got left me feeling slightly off balance. By the end, the process seemed to hinge more on seniority fit than on any single technical miss.
