I first spoke with a recruiter about my background and general fit. That was followed by an online technical interview with a quant researcher focused on my analytical and quantitative skills. After that, I attended an onsite superday with several back-to-back interviews with different team members. The final stage was an interview with the CEO.
The process took around a month. The recurring topics were programming, statistics, and machine learning. Resume walkthroughs mattered a lot. I had to explain my projects and strategies in detail, and it felt like the later rounds built directly on what I had said earlier.
The CEO interview stood out because it was so constrained. It lasted only about fifteen minutes and left little room for me to ask questions, so it felt more like a decisive check than a two-way conversation. Overall, the interview was competitive but not hostile. I liked that the team kept the process structured through the end, although the CEO round was difficult to fully land because the interaction was so brief.
