After a recruiter call, I went through a coding assessment, two technical and behavioral rounds, and a larger virtual onsite. The sequence felt structured. The assessment started with a medium array problem that needed LeetCode-style DSA thinking. Later discussions focused on Java, including SOLID and common design patterns. I also had a high-level design conversation about a Zomato-like system.
On the onsite day, the rounds combined coding with explaining engineering decisions. The first technical discussion covered my stack and experience, plus basic DSA and a coding task. A senior engineer led the next round, asking follow-ups about the concepts on my resume. It felt as though they wanted to check my understanding of the fundamentals, beyond whether I could reach a final answer. The difficulty stayed around medium, and clear reasoning seemed to matter.
I didn't receive an offer. Still, the process felt consistent in what it tested: coding fundamentals, Java and design knowledge, and explaining trade-offs. What stayed with me was how quickly the interviewers moved from syntax into design and reasoning.
Location: Chennai. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
