Walmart Supply Chain Software Engineer interview: coding rounds and backend stack discussion

Walmart Supply Chain·Software Engineer·Reported Jul 2026

The process felt structured and efficient. After the initial tech-focused intake, I had a roughly 30-minute technical assessment spread across three rounds. Each round was essentially a LeetCode-style coding challenge, and the interviewers were attentive and clear.

I also talked through my background, resume, and the tech stack listed there. Kafka and Kubernetes came up along with Java and Spring Boot because those were technologies I had actually used.

The tone was positive and professional. The interviewer was genuinely nice and communicated clearly. Because the process moved without surprises, it felt average in difficulty and not too draining despite the multiple rounds.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
