Josh Technology Group Software Engineer interview: campus to office technical rounds

After clearing campus rounds, I was called to office interviews. The campus sequence began with MCQs on CS fundamentals and output prediction, then MCQs plus one coding question, then a coding-only round. At the office, I completed an OA with two coding questions at about the same difficulty as the final campus coding round. It was followed by three technical interviews and an HR interview. The t…

Software Engineer interview at Josh Technology Group

The online rounds covered both basics and DSA. The first asked about C/C++ fundamentals and pointers. The second leaned more toward aptitude and DSA, especially trees. The assessment felt medium rather than extremely hard, but it still required solid fundamentals. I also saw material around tree traversal, OOP-style basics, and infix/postfix questions earlier in the process. I was not selected. W…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer interview: secondhand account of three online DSA rounds

I did not complete the full process myself, but I heard what the online rounds looked like. There were three of them, mainly medium-level DSA. The topics included trees, linked lists, and a string question. From that account, the OA sounded like a medium-level filter focused on core data structures rather than anything unusual. Location: Gurgaon, Haryana. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status:…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer interview: campus DSA sequence and five onsite interviews

The campus process had three rounds before anything moved onsite. First came object-oriented-programming concepts and logical reasoning. The second round combined an aptitude test with two DSA coding questions. The third had three more DSA problems. People who cleared those rounds were invited to an onsite sequence of roughly five technical interviews. Those conversations leaned heavily on data s…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer interview experience

The experience was straightforward, and the people I met were polite. There was no fixed interview timing, so interviews could be attended at any time. I showed up when scheduled and worked through the rounds. The first round covered basic CS material such as input and output, tree concepts, and a small coding component. It also included OOPs and basic C. I was asked about infix and postfix, and…

Josh Technology Group Frontend Engineer interview: group web-template assessment

My process began with online rounds and, after I was shortlisted, became very in person and structured. After the recruiter step, about a week later I had a technical screen on DSA-style coding. The in-office sequence began with a coding round where I needed to solve 2 of 4 DSA questions. Then four candidates worked together in a small group to implement assigned features in a web-development tem…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer Interview Experience: 35 questions before a timed coding round

I entered the software-developer process through college recruitment. It all happened in one day across five rounds. First was an online technical assessment on Safe Exam Browser with 35 questions in 60 minutes. It mixed multiple-choice technical questions with subjective prompts tied to code snippets. I had to predict output, spot errors, and work through basic logic-style programming questions.…

Josh Technology Group Frontend Engineer interview experience: JavaScript OA debugging

After a recruiter touchpoint, I went straight to an OA that was heavily focused on JavaScript. It opened with about 10 to 15 aptitude and reasoning questions, including blood relations and basic science or math. I had not prepared specifically for that part, but it did not feel like the blocker. The JavaScript portion had medium-to-hard HTML, CSS, and JS questions, plus debugging where I had to f…

Josh Technology Group Software Engineer interview: unstable internet during an on-site OA

The process began with a standard online assessment, but the setting changed how it felt. I had to take the OA at a college venue, where the facilities were limited and the internet fluctuated enough to distract me. The test itself followed a typical structure of programming fundamentals and code-related questions, but those logistics made it harder to concentrate. After clearing that stage, I ha…

What are interview experiences?

An interview experience is a candidate's own account of a hiring loop — not a question bank entry. It tells you the shape of the process: how many rounds there were, what each round actually tested, how long the gaps between them ran, and what the recruiter said at the end. That context is the part a question list cannot give you.

How to read them

Weight recent write-ups more heavily — interview loops change, often within a year. Read several for the same company and role rather than one: a single account tells you what one interviewer asked, while five tell you what the bar is. Note the outcome badge too, since a rejection write-up usually explains the gap far more precisely than an offer one.
