Remitly Interview Questions

Remitly Interview Questions

Remitly skews easier than most pages here: of its 11 questions, 5 are rated easy, 3 medium and 2 hard, and all 11 sit in Software Engineer loops. The coding questions carry a settlement flavour that suits a remittance company. One asks for the minimum set of transfers that balances a group of account debts; another asks you to validate that a substitution cipher is genuinely bijective before you trust anything decoded with it. Design appears as an elevator system with a scheduler, where interviewers push on the dispatch policy rather than the class diagram. The non-technical rounds are more prominent than usual: a whiteboard walk-through of a past project in depth, a question about how you keep a project from slipping, and one about preparing for a partnership round with a product manager, which suggests cross-functional work is graded explicitly rather than assumed. Seven of the ten were asked onsite, the other three earlier in the process. Nothing on the page is gated, and half of it is runnable: five questions open in a coding console, five have a written solution.
