I had a casual, low-pressure group interview in a store setting. I sat with other applicants while the interviewer asked a small set of questions. It seemed intended to gauge how I carried myself, particularly around customer service, interacting in the moment, style, outfit presentation, and the energy I would bring to the brand.
The questions covered my past experience, time management and organization, and customer situations such as difficult interactions or working with others. Availability also came up, and the conversation quickly became about what I would do and how I would communicate. It felt as though being outgoing and confident landed better, because the process leaned so much on personality and brand fit.
It took about 15 to 25 minutes. Afterward, I either heard back quickly and moved into onboarding or waited longer than expected. It was not intimidating, but it did not feel based only on right answers. It seemed to depend on matching the vibe they wanted.
