An initial recruiter call ended as soon as I shared my salary expectations. It felt like the technical fit stopped mattering once that number did not match another offer I had received.
On later SAP-focused paths, I worked through practical SAP FICO scenarios, including group reporting, central finance, and case studies where I explained my technical approach. Another SAP track went deeper on SAP SD and the order-to-cash cycle: sales orders, delivery, billing, pricing, partner determination, copy controls, production support, incident handling, troubleshooting, and working with business users.
I did not receive an offer. What stayed with me was how quickly compensation could end a process, and how detailed the SAP questions became when it continued.
Location: Madrid. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
