The selection process had several distinct stages: an individual assessment, a group discussion, a first round case interview, and a final interview. The group discussion was a consulting exercise, and the discussion itself was part of the evaluation.
During that session, a staff member introduced a consulting case study and I worked through it in the group conversation. Later I had to present the solution. The first round case interview continued that style, with structured problem solving followed by clear communication of the result.
Across the sequence, it was procedural and fairly demanding because every stage required a different kind of contribution: individual thinking, collaboration, and presentation. I did not receive an offer, but it felt as though the process was assessing how I worked end to end rather than just whether I had the answer.
Location: Tokyo. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: No offer.
