After applying, I completed a HireVue-style video pre-screen. I answered prerecorded prompts on camera with only a short window to prepare. With no actual conversation, just the clock, it felt a little destabilizing.
After HR validated me, I spoke with the hiring manager. The live part was a discussion of relevant experience and how my background fit the role. The technical side was tied to the expected day-to-day rather than pure theory, and the questions felt thoughtful and role-relevant. Although it felt harder than average to me, the process was structured and the interviewers were engaged.
I did not secure an offer, but I understood what they cared about and why. The contrast between automated video questions and more human follow-ups was what stayed with me.
Location: Toulouse. Overall feedback: Positive. Offer status: no offer.
