I was contacted directly on LinkedIn for a process that was initially described as almost a one-time opportunity. They said my application would still be kept for future openings even if I didn't join. After a short HR stage, I interviewed with a backend technical lead. That went well, and I received a backend task with a five-day deadline. Once I completed it, I met the technical lead again to explain my implementation and choices.
That part was positive. The interviewer was professional and friendly. Then the process became more disorganized. Two different HR contacts reached out without a clear shared understanding of my application status. I then had a React-focused frontend technical interview, which went well and did not require another assignment. Only afterward did I learn that I would meet the client, Carrefour, and I had a preparation call with an Alten commercial representative first.
The preparation call stood out because of poor organization. He arrived late and kept sending me messages during the call, making it hard to concentrate. The client interview was more worrying because several technical people were there with different backend and frontend focuses. Overall, it was a long, poorly coordinated process. It was harder to follow organizationally than technically, and it ended without an offer. The promising start was outweighed by inconsistent process management.
Location: Rabat. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
