After an initial review of my profile, HR contacted me for an introductory call that mainly collected the basic information. They scheduled an interview with the business manager, but it was postponed several times and eventually did not happen. The atmosphere felt relaxed and more about alignment than a concrete evaluation. Rather than deep technical questions, I had the impression that they wanted to understand how my profile fit.
At another point, the process was described as straightforward: an introductory call, an initial interview, and only later a more technical step. In the early stage, we discussed my background and availability, with limited time to introduce myself and some surrounding questions. Even where there was a technical component, the structure stayed focused on general suitability and alignment with the role instead of a detailed assessment.
My experience with Alten was more administrative and tentative than I expected. There were contacts and planned steps, but they did not always lead to real continuity. I was frustrated because the interest was there, while the organization and follow through were not decisive.
