ALTEN Technology USA reached out on LinkedIn even though I hadn't applied. The recruiter described a relatively one-time process and said they'd keep my profile for future opportunities even if I didn't join. It ended up taking much longer and feeling far less organized than that first explanation suggested.
I had a brief HR screen, then a backend technical-lead interview. It went well, and I received a backend assignment with a five-day deadline. After completing it, I met the same lead to explain my implementation and decisions. That part felt positive and professional. Then two HR representatives contacted me with what seemed to be different understandings of my progress, and it became harder to keep track of the process.
The frontend interview focused on React. It also went well, and I wasn't asked to do another assignment. Afterward, I was told I'd interview with Carrefour. Before that call, an Alten commercial representative joined our preparation chat late and kept texting during the conversation. It was hard to take the preparation seriously or get what I needed from it.
The client interview was the most concerning part, with backend and frontend technical leads and additional representatives involved. I left feeling that the biggest problems weren't technical. There was no offer. It felt as though I'd spent much of my energy dealing with communication and process problems instead of getting a clear evaluation.
Location: Rabat. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
