My first experience was an HR phone introduction about my background and motivations. I did not continue because the available assignments were all connected to the army, which did not fit what I wanted.
In a separate, more complete process, I started with HR discussing my experience and qualities, then took a Coding Game test in Java focused on logic, algorithms, and problem solving. Another practical track sent a technology list by email, followed by a coding game using options from that list and a recruiter call about available projects.
Across those experiences, the pattern was HR first and technical evaluation afterward. The tone was friendly, but fit depended as much on the missions available as on the assessment. In the last process I did not receive an offer.
Location: Lyon. Overall feedback: Neutral. Offer status: No offer.
