AMD Construction Group Software Engineer interview

AMD Construction Group·Software Engineer·Reported Jul 2026
Technical ScreenHard

I first spoke with the hiring manager about the team and my day-to-day work in earlier roles. The rest of the process was several technical panels, with scenario-based questions that tested both problem solving and technical range.

The panels covered computer architecture, UART, SPI, I2C, AXI, APB, AHB, coverage, assertions, UVM fundamentals, debugging, and verification strategy. One round also touched on Python and C++ ideas used in verification. I had a good experience with the interviewers and found the process rigorous and fair, so it was frustrating not to advance.

Location: Austin, TX. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
