I first spoke with a recruiter about a hardware-validation role. The call was friendly and clear. We covered my background, relocation and work authorization, and my interest in hardware validation, mixed-signal systems, and test development or automation. I was told to expect a hiring-manager interview and then a longer technical panel.
Neither was scheduled. I later got a rejection email that named an interview with a specific person and suggested I had met the hiring manager, even though I had not. When I pointed out the mistake, the recruiter apologized and said the team had chosen someone else.
The rejection itself bothered me less than the inaccurate communication and the lack of useful feedback after I asked. I left feeling the coordination had not been handled carefully.
