& General Intuition Software Engineer Interview Experience: an uneven hiring-manager conversation

The process felt unevenly organized from the start. Communication and the collaboration vibe varied depending on the round. The part that stayed with me was a hiring-manager-style conversation that became a judgment of my career choices, rather than staying focused on fit or leadership. That did not sit well with me.

I do not remember every technical detail, but the overall experience was noticeably less smooth than I expected. There was no single hard technical barrier. Instead, the process felt muddled, and the evaluation style in that manager round did not feel thoughtful.

I did not get an offer. I came away feeling that process design and interview framing mattered almost as much as performance. That manager conversation colored my final impression.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
